I hate losing.
Losing is for people who don't try hard enough.

I rebound. I block. I FOUL (and refs don't notice!). I am a Blue Eagle.

OKAY, BAD PUN. I'M JUST STILL MAD ABOUT THE BAD CALLS BY THE REFS
Maierhofer ejected.
Unfair calls on Casio resulting to his premature exit from the game
NOT TO MENTION THE FOULS BY ATENEO THAT THE REFS "DIDN'T" SEE.
Luto luto luto
Okay, stop. I will be a sport about this. I want to be a sport about this.

But do tell me why my beloved De La Salle Green Archers was defeated by the Ateneo Blue Eagles earlier tonight? I thought I did enough preventive voodoo like lucky green underwear and curse at Rabeh every time he's holding the ball and trying not to crush on Chris Tiu( NINA, HE'S ATENEAN!) praying and flailing and shouting my tonsils hoarse in support for my team!

Apparently, when it's not your time to win, it's not your time. Congratulations to the champs, Ateneo.

On the plus side, it was fun (except of course for the losing part.) The game gave my dad and I chance to "date" for the basketball game :)) With great patron seats, nonetheless, which we got thanks to Miko. What say you to father-daughter bonding through college ball fanaticism. :D

Admittedly, my dad has thoroughly succeeded in converting me into a green-blooded Lasallian after 3 years have passed since he adamantly did NOT allow me to go to Ateneo (the famous  "your lineage is Lasallian & you can't bear being the only Atenean in family reunions, right? And during UAAP games, you'd be the only blue one. And you will commute to school, no car for you, if you go to Ateneo. Sumakay ka ng jeep" ultimatum). Thus, I went to DLSU, and as they say, the rest is history.

I bleed green. Win or lose. (No, it's not the school we choose. It's the school that chooses us, apparently. HAHA)

Face Off: The Green Archers & The Blue Eagles

On dad's shirt. Forever Verde. Forever Green.

I love you daddy!

One of the mythical five, CASIO

I took more pictures but these are the only ones that aren't of Chris Tiu. HAHAHA KIDDING. Well, I did take a pic of him or two.
BUT EFF HIM FOR FOULING BADER. (& EFF THE REFEREES WHO DIDN'T "SEE" IT)

Anyway.
To veer off from my bitterness, I will instead focus on my sad yet grateful feelings for the player who oddly resembles a v.v.v. cute smurf but plays mean basketball who is also graduating from DLSU soon.
Jvee Casio, thank you.
For being the big hero and heart of the DLSU Green Archers for how many years now.

Too bad that your stellar college ball career ends at the hands of our forever nemesis, but that doesn't mean anything. It doesn't diminish anything about you, & everything you've done for the Lasallian community.

Jvee is Jvee.
The shot clock does not stop today.

(BUT I still feel TERRIBLE for losing. Oh, my green heart. And my sore loser tendencies.)
Goodnight.
