nunuuuClaire and I were at Makati this afternoon (Well technically, it was yesterday.) We spotted Claire's friend's boyfriend, near Nike, with ANOTHER girl. I was telling Claire "You know, they might just be friends", and as if right on cue, they hold hands. Suh-weet. What do I make of cheating boyfriends? I hate them, I guess. But I don't want to judge this situation from a place where I don't know what's really happening, because it happened to me once. I mean, I've been misjudged about something I couldn't control, a situation wherein I never intended to hurt anyone but did. Perhaps what we saw just looks bad at face value. I've misjudged too many people and too many things at first glance to have a final say in anything so soon after I've encountered it. I don't condone cheating. I guess it's just better to get to the heart of things first, before landing any kind of judgment.
Veering away from that, Claire and I are planning to finally fulfill our plans that have never seen fruition for about two years or so. This year we want to join an NGO and volunteer wholeheartedly (and not to mention, regularly). We both have our picks, my advocacy is the environment, and hers is education and children. So we'll both try hard at both things, together. I love friends with whom I can have crazy fun with, but at the same time, be earnest, ambitious, and constructive with, about things bigger than the both of us. Claire is exactly that, and I love her.
I'm looking forward to start working on that. :)
I'm not looking forward to the start of the school term tomorrow. I love learning, but I've had my fill of DLSU. For some reason, I just can't seem to stand the place anymore. But oh well. A few more terms left, then I'm saying goodbye. On to bigger and better things, hopefully.
