Christmas Eve 2009
Dec. 31st, 2009 06:46 pm
Say hello to our rather stuffed (ornament-wise) Christmas tree. Mum was in an autumn mood, thus the colors.
But she still wanted it glittery. I hate glitter. (Just saying)

Our simple Nochebuena.
To the uninitiated, Nochebuena, often translated as "Good Night", is a Spanish word referring to the night of Christmas Eve custom in Spain, Cuba, the Philippines and Latin America. It consists of a traditional dinner with family.
(I so filched that off Wikipedia.)

Queso de bola is my second favorite cheese after raclette. I'm a big cheese person.

Mariela's scampi

Our Christmas table napkins!

Tsk tsk. Dad letting Santino sip some red wine.

Kuya Arby, Sammie (who looks like she just finished running around the house), Ate May

I guess when you get down to it, Christmas is not just about your liver dying a slow, alcoholic death. It has a lot to do with family.
I surely love mine a lot. =)
