I've been so hammered all week. Last Thursday, Trish, Dee, Kim, Mikey and I went for some beers and some shisha. Then when I got home, Anton texted up. So we ended up having some hits in the park til maybe 2 in the morning. I was barely out of my hangover when Lyle and Marky barged in on dinner last night. They whisked me away to Lyle's place, then Claire, Caloy, and Migs came over too. We had some The Bar vodka (not bad, not bad), some calamansi soda, Absolut Citron, some chips, and a whole lot of cigs. We all got so drunk (we have been out of practice, you see) that we ended up lying around all over Lyle's living room, like lifeless corpses. We crashed for an hour before going home around 4:30, when we, thank god, called it a night. I absolutely hate it when the sun catches up on me when I've been drinking, because then, I wouldn't be able to sleep at all.
Seems like my back to school life also means back to vice life. How ironic, haha!
I've been complaining to everyone who will listen at how bummed out I am by the heat here in Manila of recent! It's supposed to be the rainy season already, yet it's been so sweltering hot lately that I just don't feel like doing anything! But lo and behold, today, when I woke up, and walked to the fridge to get some water, this view greeted me.

It was actually a bit nippy! Or was it just my overheated body from too much alcohol? Take your guess. Anyway, it's the perfect weather for post-hangover days, and you just want to lie in and do nothing. Which is exactly what I did today.

I've been meaning to take a picture of this since Trish gave it to me (she got it from Indonesia), but I only got around doing it now because I had my SLR out. Note that the box is all squished and ugly. I think Marky sat on it last night :)) Oh well, wala naman ng laman. The variety's called Black Menthol, which tastes like Reds and Menthol all in one. Nakakahilo. I gave most of it to friends. But I loved the novelty of it, Trish dear! Thank you :P

New glads from Zara. Bought it out frustration, I couldn't find black jelly glads from Topshop that fit me. I really wanted it because it looked like Chloe ones, but cheaper! But oh well. I'm happy with the Zara ones, they're rather pretty when it's all tied up around my ankle, and perfect for showing off pretty nail jobs! Which leads me to my next point.

I was having some frappes at the Starbucks in Taft with Claire, when I realized that my nail polish was the exact same color of a Green Tea frappe (which is my absolute favorite!) I had to take a picture using my iPhone, thus it's a bit blurry. But what the heck EET EES SO KYUT! (I'm not usually this flippant, but I really flailed over it. So cute man.)

Anyway! This was the view of our village's entrance. Everything just looked so green and dewy and dark. Perfect. I usually don't like rain but today I welcomed it. Wish I had some better lenses, really wanted to capture those raindrops hanging onto the electrical wires.

Just experimenting. I miss taking photographs, I've been neglecting it for quite awhile :|

Since I was in relaxed mode, I went all the way and lit up an incense stick and heated up some scented oil. My room smells like peach tree essence, which is a mild, fruity, and calming scent. Heavenly. Notice my big tub of headbands at the back. If I'm wearing one, and you feel like I'm beginning to smell like a monk or an herbal store (or potpourri, jesus christ), blame it on my incense sticks.

My bumming lair. Everything I need on a lazy afternoon.
Man. It really feels good to unwind after a whirlwind first week back in school, and all that drinking. I just want to soundtrip on Portishead and lay under the covers all day!
