Feb. 22nd, 2009 06:55 pmSo far, it's been a relaxing weekend. How happy am I that there are no classes tomorrow? SUPER. Because Kim and I are behind in our MENTREP work, and I'm just not in the mood to deal with it yet. Or else, I'm just being my usual self, that is, lazy. Sad.
Last night was fun, Andrea, Raffy, and I went to Rockouture at Warehouse 135, in support of Lia who cobbled the whole thing together. It turned out to be a great mix of bands and designers, with more hits than misses. (It's just that some of the designers they featured were a bit blah.)
Congrats Lia Alejo & everyone else for a job well done! And to Mitchiko, who I bumped into at the party! The last time I saw her was when I introduced her to my ex-boyfriend. The first one. So it's pretty safe to say that it was truly a long time ago! HAHA. Let's have lunch soon, I miss you!
I left a bit early to have some midnight snacks with Clairebear, whom I haven't seen in forever. I picked her up in her condo then trooped to Italianni's in Greenbelt. We shared our favorite artichoke dip, and I had a fruit shake. :) Mainly we just talked the night away, I super missed her!
Then today, I woke up pretty late. Then when the afternoon rolled in, we just ordered some pizza and swam. Leisure time. Sam was super excited to be swimming, as usual, and ended up not napping. Bad. She even dressed up early :))
Anyway, that's that. I'm off to sleep for a bit then maybe do my next storyboard for my majors. Mario Cornejo, our prof, is having us make a short film revolving around a particular sound. Hmm. I have to chew on that for a bit, mind's still a little bit blank. Off I go.
