My new favorite scent! It's the original unisex scent of Comme des Garçons simply named, well, Comme des Garçons Eau de parfum, released back in 1994 with the tagline: "works like a medicine, behaves like a drug". Andrea and I were checking out the CdG nook with all their perfumes eerily arranged on a lighted white-washed wall yesterday. I spritzed this perfume on my wrist, and god, it was like my nose came alive. It has a deep, spicy, rather cinnamon/nutmeg tinge to it which tickled my nose, but gosh, it's such an interesting scent! Not for the faint-hearted. Trust CdG to be avant-garde, even with their fragrances.
I foresee myself getting addicted to this scent! Andrea was telling me to stop sniffing my wrist all throughout dessert, lol. I can't help it! It faintly reminds me of a dusky, silent apothecary, or a Shanghainese courtesan in the 1920's regaling men in an opium den, or something. You wouldn't exactly say that it smells good, you'd say that it smells... interesting. It's probably going to be a great in-betweener with the more "conventional" scents that I'm currently using: Givenchy Absolutely Irresistible (which is more coy and, well, French), DKNY Be Delicious (girly and summery and non-confrontational, lol), and perfumes that I spritz on sometimes from my mom's dresser. This CdG perfume is something to be saved for days when I'm feeling particularly strange and mysterious and ambivalent.
Do you guys also use fragrances to further your outfits or disposition? I do that a lot.

Also bought this interesting book! I'm sure you guys all know about PostSecret.

Something to browse leisurely while waiting for a doctor's appointment, or something.
I just love dates with Andrea! Some of the food we ate.

and my favorite frozen yoghurt on the planet: Red Mango! This one is their blueberry yoghurt with azuki beans and mangoes. Yum yum yum. Can eat everyday, not kidding.
