On buying music

Not in your car or on a portable player through a headset. Take it home. Get rid of all distractions, (even him or her).
Turn off your cell phone. Turn off everything that rings or beeps or rattles or whistles.
Make yourself comfortable.
Play your CD.
LISTEN all the way through.
Think about what you got.
Think about who would appreciate this investment.
Decide if there is someone to share this with.
Turn it on again.
Enjoy Yourself."

May I just say, Gil Scott-Heron's new album, "I'm New Here", is amazing. Never heard anything like it. He's supposed to be some big hip-hop person before (the more profound kind, spoken word juxtaposed with the urban reality during that era, that kind) but he's been in jail for a decade or so; he hasn't recorded new stuff for even longer than that. I love his raspy voice, there's such wisdom to it, like he's not justifying himself, only merely stating his place in the world. He sounds weary, yet he possesses a certain kind of clarity that just jumps out when you listen to him. "New York Is Calling Me" might just be one of my personal best tracks this 2010.

BEING AN ARASHI FAN RIGHT NOW IS AWESOME. Well, more awesome than usual :D Reasons being:
1) OHNO HAS BROWN HAIR FOR HIS DRAMA, Kaibutsu-kun! I missed him with hair color! My favorite hair of his was when he was doing his butai (play), Amatsukaze. (Yes, even more than the Maou hair.) I know it was crazy blonde, but it was so... Ohno. But don't get me wrong, I love many of his hairstyles. I like it short. :)

2) Troublemaker is so much awesome. I love the song, I love the PV, I love the performances in Utaban and Music Station! It's also been selling so well according to Oricon. Nino was such a damned bitch to Ohno in the PV. Also, Matsujun in wayfarers. Also, Sho's redpajamas suit. Lol.
3) Last but not the least: Arashi 5 X 10 Anniversary Tour DVD out on April, already ordered my copy! Also finally decided to get Ohno's Freestyle art book (which I've been wanting forever.) I will certainly be hounding the mailman by April for my package. :DDD
