major news!!!

One of my super closest friends is having a baby.

I'm not telling who!

She was all but crying and laughing when she told me the news; i didn't know whether to hug her or laugh at her, so I did both. One month and two weeks in. Omigod. And to think they always teased me that I was going to be the first mom in our circle of friends. HAH. But seriously. This is so scary and amazing for her; being a mom at 20, to me, feels like the biggest challenge ever. But rest assured, no questions asked, we'll support her all the way. And plus, I can't wait to be a ninang. ;) Beb, if you're reading this, I love you and the tiny creature growing in your tummy! I do I do I do, oooh~! Channeling Kel's adorkable love for orange soda. I miss watching Keenan and Kel on Nickelodeon. And Adventures of Pete and Pete, for that matter.

...wow that just came out of nowhere wahaha! Adventures of Pete and Pete, I haven't thought about or remembered that show in YEARS. The twins and I would come home from school, open some Piattos or Clover Chips, pop a straw on our frozen tetrapack Moo's, and watch Pete and Pete! OMIGOD their mom had a metal chip in her skull and she'd get all these crazy headaches!! And the surreal scenes! And little Pete's tattoo!!! Pitstain!!! AND IGGY POP AS NONA'S DAD!!!  Such an awesome show. Come to think of it, when I was a kid, I didn't know it was that awesome, it was just funny to watch. Perhaps I was a weirdo to begin with, but I loved the dry humor and the older Pete's narration. And I've always gravitated towards great storytelling. And I loved the soundtrack, it's so nostalgic. I hope they do reruns again, I miss it.

Anyone knows if this series is out on DVD or something? I would so buy it.

Anyway.... I hope the weekend rolls in faster. CBE party, Midi's bash, and Sober Club at Andrea's! I so deserve a whirlwind debaucherous weekend after my weeks of academic hell. Christmas, hurry your fat ass up too. I am so drained. 

I'll be sleeping early tonight (yes, 11pm is early, whatever happened to the days when I thought staying up until this hour was ungodly. Must have been in my carefree high school days then.) So happy. Tomorrow will be a kind of light day, just Harry Potter literature class, then Divisoria and Marikina to get some telas and confer with the mananahi about the costumes for our upcoming play. I want to be home by 5pm then sleep!!! I'M SO TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRED I CAN RANT ABOUT IT ALL NIGHT. But I won't! I'll just sleep.
