Quick hop to Singapore
May. 13th, 2011 01:28 amThe awesome thing about Singapore is that it feels like...home. Every time I'm there, it's just so comfortable and so suited for quick weekend getaways! Granted, Singapore is miles ahead of the Philippines in terms of development (it's so laughable to even compare), but the metropolitan feel of Singapore doesn't differ much from the places I frequent here in Manila, like Rockwell or Makati. In short, Singapore is like a vision of Manila in an optimistic future: clean, well-organized, and tree-lined. (Yes, I judge cities by their trees)
Anyway, the four days we were there, we did nothing but eat, shop, laze around: not much different than here at home, really, except that we boarded a plane. Also, finally got to check out their Universal Studios. I got sunburnt so bad!

( I apologize beforehand for the sheer number of food photos in this post. Damn you, Singapore. )
